Chickenshed relies on support from eager volunteers, and we offer diverse volunteering opportunities.
A Front of House Volunteer provides a warm welcome and a safe environment to ensure our audiences enjoy their experience. You will join a friendly diverse team and receive full training and guidance.
Our Front of House team is currently at full capacity. We will update this section when we are recruiting again.
We have opportunities for volunteers to support us Backstage during the Christmas Productions which run from November to January.

If you have artistic skills, you can sign up for our set painting weekend which takes place in October – playing an important role in getting the set ready for the Christmas show.

Tales from the Shed are vibrant, inclusive and interactive theatre shows that are perfect for young children. If you have performance or artistic skills, we would like to hear from you!
We are looking for volunteers to be involved in our summer programme of events. All performers will need to be aged over 18 years. We will also consider offering placements to students on Applied Theatre courses.
