Chickenshed has been awarded an overall Gold - Standard - Outstanding in the Higher Education Teaching Excellence Framework or TEF.
The Office for Students (OFS) announced the TEF awards for Higher Education on Thursday 28th September with the vast majority of Universities and Higher Education Providers in the UK having applied for the Awards and having received their judgement from the OFS.
Grades available are Gold, Silver, Bronze and No Award. The Chickenshed Gold Award - the highest award available - represents an assessment and judgement by the OFS on the last 4 years of Chickenshed achievement in the areas of "Student Experience, Student Outcomes and Educational Gains" which cover all the main areas of student life in Higher Education.
Chickenshed is very proud to be recognised for its work in Higher Education through this major award. We are extremely grateful to our students, stakeholders, staff and partners who will have all played their part in the last 4 years of successful teaching, learning and both education and theatre achievement which has resulted in the Gold Award.
