Nigel Douglas Spurgeon

I'm Nigel Spurgeon, a musician, performer, transcriber, and publisher for Chickenshed. I have been actively involved in playing and performing in various shows at Chickenshed since 1999. Some notable productions include "The Beggars Opera," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "The Nutcracker and The Mouse King," and "A Christmas Carol." In 2013, I had the honour of portraying Father Christmas in "The Night Before Christmas," just to name a few of the many shows I have been a part of up until the present day.

Aside from my work on stage, I am also involved as a musician and performer in Tales From The Shed and Planet Play. Over the years, I have enthusiastically taken part in numerous outreach projects. Furthermore, I proudly serve as Chickenshed's official Music Transcriber, diligently preserving the musical legacy of past and current productions. I have meticulously archived all the productions in Chickenshed's rich history.
