Gemilla Shamruk

Gemilla Shamruk,I joined Chickenshed as a student and have successfully completed all courses up to the B.A. level. Currently, I primarily work within the Education Division as a support mentor and tutor. Throughout my time at Chickenshed, I have actively participated in performances, directed various projects, provided support for Outreach initiatives, and collaborated with numerous creative teams for our shows. Teaching, performing, and supporting students through the Performing Arts is my deep-rooted passion. I continuously strive to analyze how this can be effectively translated into facilitating inclusive practices and providing support for young people. I firmly believe that embracing diversity in the arts enriches students' experiences and enhances their sense of self and their relationships with others.
