Tales from the Shed
Tales from the Shed are vibrant, inclusive and interactive theatre shows that are perfect for young children.
They are informal, lively and amazingly engaging as the performers and audience share the same space. Tales from the shed is powered by the children's imagination so children are always encouraged to make a lot of noise and to help make the story happen!
With a spark of magic, these shows are brought to life through puppetry, music and movement as we follow the adventures and tales of our favourite characters. We guarantee that every show will be fun, really silly and that there will be plenty of colourful puppets and as you meet new friends big and small!
About Performances to Children
Our Performances to Children Team deliver interactive shows and workshops to children aged 0-12 years old. Having worked in partnership with early years experts for over three decades, our diverse team present a variety of shows which incorporate educational songs, movement and language games which help promote cognitive development and early learning in young children.
Chickenshed's Performances to Children have performed for four years at British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park, Legoland New York, Big FEASTival, Alexandra Palace, TAhe Excel Centre, Trafalgar Square for Chinese New Year and at the Victoria and Albert National Gallery Museum. In Addition to this we tour around the UK delivering interactive shows and workshops in schools, nurseries, theatres, festivals, outdoor venues and beyond!
We also deliver a wide range of training and workshops to adults, teachers, educators, care homes, refugee centres, hospitals and the likes all across the UK and beyond.
